Restaurants In The Vicinity

Right across the venue hotel is the A. Venue Complex, located along Makati Avenue corner Valdez Street and Luna Street is a mixed-use complex developed by the same owners as the hotel. The ground floor features various low-end to medium-end restaurants, including:

  • 360 Restaurant and Bar
  • Burger Avenue
  • Suta Meshi
  • Capone's Bistro
  • Naked Juice Bar
  • Zenses Neo-Shanghai Cuisine
  • Club Bureau, Fluke
  • Padrino
  • Gasthof
  • Attica Bar and Lounge
  • Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
  • Focaccia Italian Restaurant
  • Sicilian Express
  • Plate & Yummy Asian Restaurant
  • Botong's Up Restobar
  • Texas BBQ Bar and Restaurant
  • Shin Dang Dong Korean Restaurant
  • Artina Gallery Café
  • Oki Okie

The second and third floors are lined up with health and wellness facilities, while the third floor would have retail stores and occasional exhibits.

Beyond A. Venue lies the Makati Avenue strip. Along Makati Avenue itself or just off it, a short walking distance from the venue hotel, there are several reasonably-priced middle-end restaurants, including:

  • North Park
  • Aberdeen Court
  • Barrio Fiesta
  • Pizza Palace
  • Casa Armas

There are also the food and beverage outlets of the nearby hotels, such as Great Eastern and St. Giles, and Berjaya. Once you cross Makati Avenue, you are close to the "red light" district of Makati City, especially in the area around Burgos Street. The place is a maze of bars, night clubs, karaoke joints, and food establishments, and they remain open for most of the night.

If you walk along Kalayaan Avenue (away from Makati Avenue, away from the A. Venue complex, towards the back of the venue hotel), you will come across Picar Place. It is a 3-story building which houses Buddha Bar, a chicken restuarant with branches all over Europe, the USA and the Middle East. It is higher-end restaurant which serves fusion Chinese/Japanese/Thai dishes, and is very popular with the dining crowd in Makati. Beware, they do have a strict dress code (e.g., shorts and slippers not allowed).
